About
How many times have you read a review by a popular critic and thought, “I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but it must be true because he sounds intelligent”? It is so easy for the average consumer to form an opinion about a product based on an article he or she has read in the paper or on a Website. But consider all of the jargon and technical mumbo jumbo that is used by most high caliber critics. Is it any wonder why we are pressured into such ridiculous trends? Who is going to question the opinions of someone who gets paid to tell us what is good or bad?
At Yourwiseguy.com, our goal is to provide honest, yet simple reviews that are written by people whom you can relate to. We don’t try to confuse you or sound important by using complicated vocabulary. Rather, we say it like it is, in a way that will give you the confidence to form your own opinions about products.
By reviewing in a blog setting, we are able to share our opinions about products in the context of our average, everyday lives. Our reviews are published along side posts about our experiences in college and about any events or thoughts of interest. And while we do understand the importance of professional critics and their reviews, we truly feel that our reviews are extremely relevant to the needs of the average consumer.
What Do We Review?
To be honest, we review the things that we are passionate about. Wines that we drink, apps that we download, games that we play, and movies that we watch are all reviewed on our blog because they are the things that we enjoy and know most about. We also review products per user request (as long as it’s within our budget) or products that are sent to us by companies and devlopers.
